A Heartfelt Celebration: Mothering Sunday Service Filled with Love and Gratitude Our school community came together beautifully for a truly special Mothering Sunday service held at All Saints Church. The atmosphere in the church was simply wonderful, filled with warmth, love and a deep sense of appreciation for all the amazing mothers and mother figures in our lives. It was a truly memorable occasion that showcased the creativity and thoughtfulness of our pupils. From the moment we stepped inside, it was clear that our children had been working hard to make this a meaningful celebration. Class 1 brightened the church with a delightful display of hand-painted portraits of their mothers. Next, Class 2 captivated the congregation with a wonderful acrostic poem dedicated to mothers. Their carefully chosen words beautifully captured the many qualities we cherish – their kindness, strength, and unwavering support. The artistic talents of Class 3 were also on full display with their fabulous Mothering Sunday artwork. Their colourful and imaginative creations added a vibrant touch to the church. Perhaps one of the most touching elements of the service was the contribution from Class 4. Each child had thoughtfully written down a personal moment of gratitude for their mother or a significant mother figure in their life. These heartfelt messages were then carefully written onto individual flowers. Together, these "gratitude blooms" were artfully arranged to create a superb display within the church. Throughout the service, we were uplifted by the sound of familiar hymns and joined together in heartfelt prayers of thanks and blessing. We were also incredibly blessed to have a performance from the Open Book team, who brought the story of the Upside Down Kingdom to life. Their contribution was warmly received by everyone present. Finally, Father Jeremy brought the service to a close with his thoughtful words and a final blessing.
