Image of Summer Term 2 - Week 6

What a whirlwind this past week has been—our last full week together in Class 3 and every moment was packed with learning and laughter! In maths, our minds were buzzing as we explored the fascinating world of position and direction on a grid, mastering the x and y axes. We also became experts at interpreting and creating pictograms, bar charts and line graphs, turning data into colorful stories. In our art lessons we completed our city skylines, where intricate perspective, bold 3D shapes and a variety of sketching techniques brought our urban visions to life. It was truly heartwarming to see the sheer wonder on parents' faces at Thursday's whole-school gallery event—your children's talent shone so brightly! In RE, we embarked on a spiritual journey, comparing the significance of pilgrimages to the Western Wall for Jewish people and Lourdes, France, for Christians, fostering a deeper understanding of faith. Capping off an incredible week, Mrs. Cox and the Year 5s led a fantastic sports afternoon on the show field on Wednesday, filled with energy and teamwork. It's been a brilliant week and while it's a little sad to think this was our last full one, I can't wait to see your wonderful faces for two more days of school next week!
