Class 2- Summer 2- Week 6

Well, hasn't this week just flown by? We've all worked our little socks off, and there's been so much exciting learning happening all around school!

Marvellous Maths! Our brains have been buzzing in Maths this week as we've been exploring weight, capacity, and temperature. It was so much fun getting hands-on with all the special equipment – weighing different objects, pouring liquids to understand capacity, and even checking the temperature. Learning becomes much clearer when we can see and feel it, doesn't it?

Delicious D&T Delights! In Design and Technology, we've been getting ready for something very tasty! We've been learning all about picnics and healthy eating. We even became master chefs, carefully making yummy fruit skewers – learning how to use knives safely and properly was a very important skill! And who can resist a good rice crispy cake? We certainly couldn't! We're all super excited for our actual picnic at the village hall next week. Fingers crossed for some sunshine!

Amazing Art Showcase! We put the finishing touches on our fantastic collage art projects this week, and we were so proud to showcase them at our art exhibition last night. It was wonderful to see everyone's unique creations and celebrate all the hard work and creativity that went into them. Well done, artists!
