Ahoy me hearties!
This week the children have been listening to stories about pirates.
They have drawn pirates, sharks and treasure chests and reception wrote accompanying sentences.
The children have enjoyed playing with the pirate ship and water outside.
In maths, the children practised sharing small parts equally.
On Wednesday, the children enjoyed watching Class 4 perform their play.
In Monster phonics, the reception children have been looking at polysyllabic words and having a go at segmenting and writing these tricky words.
Preschool have been looking at the phoneme ‘n’
