This week we have been busy practising for the harvest festival service. We hope you enjoyed seeing your children’s paintings in church.
Thank you to all of you who attended the Monster Phonics workshops. The children really enjoyed having you in the classroom and we hope you enjoy supporting their learning at home.
This week the children have learned the phonemes m, d and g.
The preschool children have been making and exploring patterns this week while reception have been comparing length and weight.
In PSED the children have made an angry ‘a’ volcano. They listened to the story ‘Roar’ and we talked about what can make us angry and how we can help ourselves to calm down.
Next week the children will learn about people who help us. Mrs Compton has made a police station in our outside area!
